the bottom end has started to knock on my 01 wrx and have been offered a 2.5wrx engine out of a 06 car and just wondered will it be a straight swap ?

You wont be able to use the heads off it as they are avcs but the rest will fit straight in.

my mate been suppose to be dropping the engine off on monday and still hasnt dropped it off so i told him to forget it so drew is going to strip the motor down and see wot it needs. keep thinkin of getting uprated turbo,injectors and intercooler put on there too before it gets mapped again.
