Hi guys,


anyone tell me some good makes of car battery's (pref performance/heavy duty), my battery has eventually given up and would like a decent quality one, can't pay over £70 as i'm stupidly skint :-( BA**ARD winter weather!!!

ive usually used varta batteries,havent had one for a while so not sure on price. Very Happy http://www.varta-automotive.com/

Varta, ok cheers mate. I mean i know of Bosch and Optima already but as I say I can't afford one of those right now

i got a new energiser battery for my dads car and it was only 120€ but it was one for a diesel so they are a bit stronger. Smile

Have you tried Eurocar parts for a bosch battery mine was £30-£40 cant mind off hand but came with a 3 year warrenty
