The new Motor - A proper Hot Hatch.

Here it is, how it stood when I first got it.



Now with new shoes and exhaust. Sounding and looking much better IMO.

And here's what is wrong with it. Car was written off and is on a Cat D due to the scratches (similar for every panel on the car) which doesn't bother me at all as the car is (apart from the marks) in mint condition, every body panel is perfectly straight.
Owner before the last one parked it in what he thought was a car park, along with several other cars, came back a few hours later to find that it was a private car park and all the cars had been keyed.



And the front bumper is a bit shite, cracks and bodge come off, but will sort that out when I come to paint the car.
Probably remove the splitter TBH and fit a proper P1 one or something.

When you say good spray job, does me doing it count?

Very nice - Coming along well.

If you can spray yourself that's great - just remember to spend 10 times as long in preparation than painting and you will end up with a class job, painted many a car in my day.

I suppose I'll have to run a project thread and put on everything that I've been doing to the car.

Shame I didn't start it all ready as I'm sure there could have been some handy tips on how to do certain things for people who are wanting to attempt to service/tinker with their toys.

i.e. how to seriously annoy yourself when changing plugs.

Ahh well, keep your eyes open, I'll start one.
