hi fellas me again got my car running peach (coil packs n plugs )but a cpl of time now its let me down on starting it fires almost starts then stops and wont fire at all ,if i leave it for an hour or so it will start up no problem when its running it goes fab any ideas got me beat again .no lights on ect

its located directly under the alternater, rte next to the timing belt covers, i have a fully working one £25 delivered nxt day if any gd to you

most probably is the crank sensor, best get it changed as it could leave u stranded somewhere if it packs up altogether bud

got a spark so surpose it must be fuleing problem ,got back seat out but cant see a fule pump? have changed cam sensor and crank sensor like i say it was running fab just nothing at all now confused

under the cover behind backseat on drivers side its easier to do with back seat out ..try a new filter aswell

Theres an oval plate on the drivers side just by the seat back, held down by screws, its under there mate

ive got bottom part of back seat out and there is no oval plate i have a wire loom with a small black box that the wires conect to its about 2 inch long only wires no pipes mine is an import dose that make a difference ?

You need to lift up the carpet in the boot mate should see it then. What you're looking at sounds like a tracker

dont get it went out today found fuel pump took cover off turned egnition to see if i could hear buzz or feel pump working and the bloody thing started been for a ride out runing fine no lights on no missing smoth as even on boost ,i changed cam and crank sensors but it didnt start then ,strange things thees scobies i think mine may be posessed ,once again thanks for your help fellas bounce bounce bounce

Sounds like a fuel pump problem if the cam and crank sensors have been changed!

i did run it dry before xmas but it started up as soon as i put some in il take pump out n have a clean ,its starting fine again now just don't want to get stuck anywhere away from home .

car has run great for 2 days then today has cut out turns over brill no start got to be fule pump anybody got 1 wrx 96 classic saloon getting ready to set this thing on fire ahhhhhhhhhh
