Subject: 2005 fuel problem Tue 15 Mar - 21:00
Hi a friend oF mine owns a 2005 wrx sti , he does not have the internet , he has just text to ask , in hes words ( does a 2005 wrx sti have a interior switch for fuel if so where , as i have changed my fuel pump and fuse so it is primming up now , but there no fuel going to fuel filter, ) any help asp would be gr8 or ideas thanks crad

no interior switch.
it will prime for a few seconds on turning the key.
is the car not starting?
has he had the inlet manifold off for any reason or fuel pipes off?
because its a common problem to get the fuel feed and fuel return pipe round the wrong way if u have done a engine swap or had the inlet manifold off

Thanks for reply , as far as i know the car primes but the fuel is not getting to the fuel filter , sounds like sumit simple but i dont think they ever are, as far as i am aware he has not had engine out etc only the fuel pump cheers

has it got petrol in it ??
even if the gauge shows it has petrol doesnt mean it has petrol.
wouldnt be the 1st scoob av heard have a dodgy fuel sender unit
