Impreza blob eye (2005) abs problem

My abs light came on about 3 months ago but never had it looked at cos I don't really like abs in the winter!! I parked my car up tonight and switched the engine off and found the abs pump was sill running, so left it for about 15 minutes to see if it stopped however it didn't and the pump was getting warm so I disconnected the pump altogether to stop the pump from running all the time. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or any suggestions on what the problem could be?

Yer I no it's puzzling me aswell! Yer I will take a photo and post it up but it's the large plug that pulgs into the back of the abs pump
