Ok i have a MY 05 blob eye wrx and sounds like i have a nocking from the pass side rear shock area when driving kushbex did say there is a thread or a way of repacking or refurbing them any one got any ideas ?

I'm not sure if this relates to just the STi or whether it covers WRX as well but best way would be to look at the bottom of your rear strut and see if it has a nut at the bottom like the first one pictured in the post: http://www.scoobymods.com/04-sti-rear-strut-repacking-t9972.html

KushBex just been rolling on the drive and it looks the same Will be fitting lowering springs on saturday so i might picture and write this one up for here as i'm sure there are some others who would like to see it done

Il be checking everything out on sat i'm pretty sure it's not top mount mate. I can feel the the cylinder sticking a bit sometimes which points to the grease beig dryed out and sticky Well thats what i'm hopeing for.

Got the rear passenger side one replaced under warranty at only 16,000 miles and the rear drivers side one was replaced likewise at 22,000. By 32,000 the two fronts had gone also and I'm no rally driver or kerb jumper. Thats not very satisfactory in my opinion as it was out of warranty at that point. Someone did mention to me that replacing my std springs with Eibachs will not have helped the situation, but I dont know if there is any truth in that.
