Subject: knocking noise at rear Fri 22 Jul - 19:14
Im after a little bit of help.
Ive started to get a knocking noise (thumping sound) on my scooby coming from the rear when im setting off. I originally thought it was the exhaust knocking so i had it up on the ramps to have a look. The exhaust seems fine and rigid and away from the body and couldnt see any signs of the problem. Ive just travelled back from hull today and its getting worse. Mainly when im setting off, Also getting the knocking when in neutral but does need looked at asap. I dont really know about cars too much especially scoobies so was wondering if anyone can suggest were i can also check or a good garage that i can take it in hartlepool. Sorry for the lack of description of the knocking noise but im lost to what it is. Thanks

shocks are a common fault or antiroll bar bushes and drop links
+1 on the shocks common fault check all else out first then check top mounts to ensure they are ok and tight then just follow the sticky on refurbing your shocks it's in the technical section has pics and all
And it's not that hard mate honest
