Classic WRX 1995 import)

Hi all need some advise (time has come to get the scooby back out for the nice weather)

RITE -

ive got a 3" straight front to back pipe , HKS filter and has just had a forge rebuild last year,

wat do i need to do to get it mapped and how much will it be (its got a z4 ECU on at the minute)

e.g. - 255 Welbro fuel pump, new ECU etc

also will i notice a difference in the car once its mapped .!!!!!!!

correct me if im wrong but i think the z4 ecu can be esl live mapped with the daughterboard fitted??

Apexi power fc can be picked up quite cheap, also simtek ecu but they are quite expensive.

Have you still got the slanty intercooler fitted? If so you are only looking at a max of 300bhp before things start to get too hot.

If it was mine I would go-

Walbro
Adjustable FPR
440cc phase 1 injectors
Apexi power fc mapped by Andy Forrest
Front mount intercooler
Together with your mods above should see you up to 340/350bhp with the standard td05 16g you have fitted.

Yeah they sure can mate but I personally wouldn't recommend one.

In my opinion they are a bodge of the standard setup.

You are much better of with an ecu that is built for purpose

cheers gav yes brand new still in box with commandor, 440cc i bought from drew i have a fmic but no piping

425 e.c.u

80 for injectors with the adaptors for your inlet

50 for fmic
