as previously posted i have wrx 01 plate got 61k on full service history & just had timing belt changed , other than changing oils filters & brakes etc, is there anything else i should be doing to perseve my pride & joy Question Razz

Check oil regular
Check water regular
Use high octane fuel
Allow to warm up to normal operating temp before giving it the beans
Allow to cool down after giving it the beans before switching off.
Ensure timing belt is changed at 50k miles
Ensure correct plugs are fitted (NGK pfr6b for standard and pfr7b for tuned)

thanks to to you all , i warm it up before giving it some beans , i have a turbo timer fitted which is set to 30 seconds , what time would you recomend i set this to & which oil should i use . the temp gauge reads normal but heats up quite quick is this normal . once again thanks to you all & sorry if iam being a pain in the back box

am not a lover ov turbo timers. ie if av been booting it a wont turn it straight off.

as for the oil it millers 10 60 everytime.
if anyone tries to advise you otherwise, they probably after the £££ u will need for a engine rebuild...
