Subject: where to adjust remote boot release? Wed 7 Sep - 18:34
as above? removed remote release housing expectin it to slide off but it doesn't. thought it would just be a little nut to tighten but cant see it. is it under the bloody carpet?! had the rear plastic plate off in the boot as well. both ends of the cable looks like new an well greased. thinks its just rattled loose or stretched a touch cos still moves fine. not a high priority post,lol!

is your boot not opening via catch ?
you checked catch on bonnet ?
it has a lever too cancel incar opening.

That little cancel leaver had me foxed for ages (and I know thats not difficult) I nearly went beserk trying to figure out why the damn thing wouldnt open from inside the car. Must have knocked it to cancel with out noticing

lol knocked mine by accident on the old car which was de-locked, had to take the rear seats out to get in the boot to open it,
