need some info from everyone if possible.

would like to know what model impreza you have reg/month of manufacture and how much your paying for your road tax.
thinking about getting a newer model but need to know exactly how much i might be paying,

didnt realise the sti and wrx were different tax band ???

a no the cut off point is 21 march 2006, before the go into the higher tax band

am sure some ov the newage imports are different tax band than uk cars ??? (before march 2006)a mean .....

Hi rob I seen that graph on dvla too,
But while I was looking at different cars even my 03 sti
Says it'd pushing out 290 co2 so that equates to over 400 tax !.
Wanted to know exactly from other members what month ,
Model and tax there paying.
Ideally I'm after a spec D. Sti. But have a feeling it'd going to be stupid tax...in that case its a no no

It clearly states on the above Dvla link the following


* Band K includes cars that have a CO2 figure over 225g/km but were registered before 23 March 2006

So any scooby registered before 23 march 2006 will be £260 I have been checking on this for a while now as don't fancy paying silly money for tax when I change my car.

yeah , 23rd march 2006 is the critical date, before this you should be ok, after then the tax man has your arse!!

My 06 hawkeye was registered on the 1,3,2006 so I pay the lower tax amount (£260)

Jonny was the spec D available then or later ?

Think Mikkels was an 06

Our Sti is reg 2/01/2006 £260/Year

becareful of imports cos even if the date of manufacture is earlier than march 2006 but reg later on a year related plate ya get shafted with the £400/yaer

Here is a spec d that was registered 15/03/2006 so is in the lower tax band
