| some help please, got family in hetton and need a place to stay for my mum, a good hotel, she wont mind using a bus to get about, been about 30 years when I was last up thare apart from a few weeks ago [taxy up for the day]

| The marriott in the city centre is pretty nice, as is the Radisson but it's not overly close to Hetton but if she's happy with a bus they'd be good bets as she'll atleast have the city to look around.

| How longs it for as if its like 3-6 month or so might be worth lookin for short term renting
How about bannatynes hotel belmont as theres a buss close goes direct to hetton not sure from durham i sure you need to change over but it has been 2 year since ive had to do it | |

| We put our lasses dad in the highfield hotel on the a690 at houghton he said it was spot on as well. It's two mins from hetton. | |

The contractors from work all stay at the Highfield and got a great deal for regular / longer term bookings so they may well be open to negotiation on charges if its a week or two at a time. | |
