| Or if you are like me you get told to accelerate and watch the mapper crap himself at the sound of your front splitter ripping itself from your front bumper at 90mph | |

| If its any help mate I had my car 4 yrs before I got it mapped, but Ive now had several sessions with Andy Carr and I'm glad that I plucked up the courage to do so. Things normally start with a bit of chat about whats changed on the car since the last session and what I'm expecting, while Andy hooks up all of his gear. He'll set a few things up on the laptop, get his headcans on, then we'll go for a genteel run out while he checks everythings ok. Only after he's satisfied that all is in order and the car is up to temperature will we start the session for real. He'll ask me to settle the car at 2,500 revs in 2nd gear then put the hammer down, flat to the floorboards and change up at about 6,000 revs into 3rd, 4th, 5th etc. Not that Ive ever got to 5th of course as we are normally running out of test track Depending on how happy he is, we'll repeat that 4 or 5 times then calm things down and meander back to base. By the time he's unhooked all of his gear, Ive usually managed to let go of the steering wheel. I'll admit that I was well twitchy on my first ever run out but Andy very much put me at ease. | |

| Cheers kgt, can’t wait. This time round not going for the turbo and injectors yet, just ported headers of Finn, up/down pipe decats , 3” exhaust ,3 port, walbro fuel pump pf7 plugs , would be nice to get one of Johnny’s turbo’s (future mod) maybe see how this goes first, hopefully should see 270bhp | |
