Subject: Hot oil smell Sun 25 Mar - 18:26
After taking the car out for a good thrashing there seems to be a hot oil smell keeps drifting off the engine, slight oil residue around the oil pressure sensor but that's of no concern, checked the engine over and there's no other leaks or anything, any ideas anyone? Or is it time for an oil catch can?

is there smoke coming from engine bay?

Nothing at all Andy there's nothing visible that I can see unless I'm overlooking something

maybe one of the oil breather pipes have came off?

All on m8 had the intercooler off today replacing the pipe to the boost gauge and everything's fine
