after climbing a long and steep hill ,when i stopped at the top for a fag ,i noticed there was smoke coming from the engine bay .i only noticed as it was dark and i had kept the lights on.this happened once before when i got to the top of sutton bank.only smelt it this time as lights were off .ido try and keep on top of the oils and try my best to look after the car.mabye i drove it too hard.after driving a futher 60 miles to get home i checked again ...but everything was fine .any help and advice would be appreciated.kind regards rufusbarry. 1999 forester/non turbo.
