Excellent news Mario - I'll give you 4-6 months before its a "6 speed and 450-500bhp project" thread   

Looking forward to seeing this develop, 360bhp in a classic will feel rapid.

Nice one Mario your face when the bonnet opened said it all really I honestly thought you where going to walk away. Nothing a man with your OCD can't sort out mate and for what you finally paid for the car was well worth it..
I could tell you weren't exactly happy with the car all the way home and I'm glad that mr Kindon has sorted it out for you relatively cheaply..

Anyway no need for a 450 BHP build because as long as it's faster than bishops car that is all that matters cos we all know he has the fastest Scooby in the north east

Well I dropped the car off to the good Dr Kindon a couple of days ago and he carried out the following work for me:

1. Custom Hawkeye STI TMIC conversion with dump valve delete - TMIC cleaned & refurbed
2. New set of OEM Diamond HT leads in red
3. New set of spark plugs
4. Car completely undersealed

Absolutely delighted with the outcome and quality of the TMIC conversion. Next stop AC Autocolour & HYDROtek

I wanted a newage sti tmi but it wouldn't fit onto mine   

but im pleased with the front mount anyway so not all bad   

Whats next?

All cosmetic mods next mate

1. New STI oem gear knob with red stitching all the way from Japan installed
2. New leather gear gaitor with red stitching to install
3. Waiting on the arrival of all the red Samco hoses and vacuum hose, then back to AK
4. polished stainless steel & red anodised washers & battery rod kit to install
5. Inlet manifold getting refurbed & HYDROtek'd
6. Lots of other engine bay bling mods
7. Going to paintshop in the next couple of weeks to get refreshed paint, bodywork, grilles, wiper arms, etc.

Once I am finished with that and I am happy with the looks it's on to the performance mods.......

Old worn tuner & locking nuts replaced with some McGard Chrome spline drive nuts & McGard Chrome locking nuts - all the way from USA

New Sokie Tech carbon Bonnet Dampers to get rid of that horrible bonnet stay - All the way from Taiwan!

And not a single open chequebook was thrown at a local tuner, I managed to put them all on myself, who knew?

Here you go mate - this is the second set I've had off this company. Quality dampers and they arrive in about 3 or 4 days from Taiwan with no import Vat to pay. These are the ones I got for the Type R that are for alloy/standard bonnet

He done a cracking job Iddy - he even refurbed it before he put it on, which I didn't even ask him to do. He said he knows what I am like about clean engine bays so he just did it.    You can't beat service like that.
