drews 95 wrx repair

ok guys copied this from tts as already had one running on there but i said ide share with you lot too so here you go
ok lads here is my first scooby. its a 95 wrx with 90k on the clock. got it dirt cheap from a mate so decided rather than strip it ide bring it back on the road and have some fun and enjoyment out of it. engine and box are fine as starts and reversed into gargae with it. havnt been out for a good test as rad is goosed and a cracked sump.

please enlighten if you notice any mods on the engine apart from the dump valve as im clueless with these cars took me ages to realise its a boxer engine and sits flat hahahaa. so used to my bm being all uptop
spent a couple of hours after work this morning stripping down ready for new front panel to be welded in

now waiting till end of month to get some parts in and get cracking with the rebuild. on the sump front is there any mopdified sums ect that i should consider or is there only the standard option available. will be putting a brand new rad on it too as there cheap enough from fleabay. unlesss one of you guys have one in mint condition at a good price.
tommorow moring im going to start and take the stickers off it and maybe start keying it down ready for paint

np i will do mate thinking on a facelift front end now lol just need to find out if the front panels the same also wings

Is the car from bishop auckland area?
I'm sure ive seen it or one very similar around bishop?

no mate its not from the bishop area its from the belmont area originaly. previous owner got about so you might of seen it that way ocasionaly bud

ive seen another one the same as this one without the stickers along the skirts. samd colour scheme and wheels ect. its normaly around thinford way on where i see it as ive tried to get him to stop in the past thinking its my mate.lol it normaly just takes off haha

With a bit of T-cut, you will save that bonnet lol

i did say itl t-cut out to the gf. she hasnt seen it yet pmsl. yeah i have a few plans for the colours ect it will be very marmite as some will hate the idea some will like it

Ive still got all four doors with elec windows (tinted) elec mirrors and rear bumper if u interested? Also front grille same colour! Very Happy

yeah mate it was robbos and if the price is good ill take the two passenegr doors as would save me getting the filler out.

i need to mirror so i could defo take the passenger side could do witha grille to tbh

and is the boost control valve the brass thing up by the dumpvalve. if it is its a good job ive got another to replace as its been took apart and put back together with plumbers tape to keep it locked up tight as hell

anytime realy bud im in nightshift this week so i work from 11.15pm to 7 am if its morning i stay awak and go to bed at 2 but if its afternoon ide go to bed when i got in and get up at 4. seens you finish work at half 5 and if you dont mind popping the belt on ide have the covers off ready for you for whenever you want to pop round.

ill try get hold of a belt tommorow autosave might have one if not ill pop near wor lasses and go to subaru

dont know if its the same thing, but we have a manual brass boost control valve fitted to our 2002 wrx, called a GBE valve which we bought from as performance at birtley and they come with plumbers tape on Very Happy
