Gauging interest for a monthly drive out/ weekend meet

Right guys and girls, hope the mods dont mind me doing this.

Just seeing if there is any interest within NESF for a monthly drive/run out/ meet on say the last Sunday of a month maybe??

A few years ago when there used to be DSC (darlington scooby club some of you may have heard of it) they were very popular and we used to get a good turn out each week to go for a blast.

I know there is meets on the first tuesday of the months which is mostly a good old catch up and chill out, but as some people cant do them then maybe a weekend could work also??

After all our cars are made for driving and there is plenty of good driving roads out there!!

I was thinking runs out to the likes of Tan hill great roads to and from and a cracking pub for a bite to eat and a few pictures. There is also high force nice country roads there. or to the coast (seaton, redcar, whitby etc) for fish and chips and a few pics etc

If people would be interested if they could just add there name to this thread so we can see if there is any interest or if its just waste of time.

The runs out could be all over the north east and if its a monthly thing then people can pick and chose there runs some will obviously be further away or longer drives.

I'd be up for it.....as am not getting to drive it as much so yeh not a bad idea

Id be up for that m8 as with working late everynight a dont get a chance to go to any meets, and it will give me the chance to finally meet some of ya

Would th 25th of this month be any good? its the last sunday or is that too soon for people?

If the date is good ill start a new thread for a list. run out location and a few meet points?

Also is there any locations you can think of for a run out too/ meet as the club covers a big area there will be some areas i dont know.

the more locations the better? any preferences for the 1st one?

U gunna go like locky?? Ill have a ride out like, mines at andys now he didnt seem to think it was owt major like so should be all good by 25th.. He says it dunt need maping either so al take my name off that list..

im up for that like as my shifts dont always alloy me to go newton grange most of the time so im in. Their some good roads over wensleydale way with lots of places on the way

I have started a list of names. there are plans for a monthly sunday meet run out in the pipeline...the only downside is its near to xmas at the moment..thats why the attendee list could be low...please keep adding names for a regular sunday meet....cheers

Depends where we go. The teeside hpool cars normaly meet at wolviston.
Once somewhere is chosen and numbers of attendees. We can sort out times meeting points..etc.

When do you meet as im half teeside and half county durham lol... i live in peterlee and my roots are in hartlepool lol

Nah mate my car was asleep i was at the pub in darlo

We use it as a meeting point when were hoin out..so it depends on times as we meet the rest of nesf at a chosen point....winston has said hes coming on the 25th hes from your way so you could meet with him and join the rest at anothet point...

Could people who have said they will attend please add there names to the run out thread for the 25th!! so we know who is definate and then a route and location for meeting etc can be decided

Keith where do you fancy for the run out? i see on facebook you said maybe high force?

We could do mate unless anyyone has any other places in mind.
