| tan hill inn is the uk's highest pub really nice counrty pub in the middle of no where 27 miles from scotch corner basically along side the a66, the roads are awesome and perfect for scoobs.
120 miles from hartlepool maybe a tad far?? but also some of it will be steady dual carridgeway driving.
high force is 30 miles from darlington towards barnard castle also country roads all the way but if people were wanting food there is only a little cafe there which is open sometimes!!!
100 miles from hartlepool near middleton teesdale.

Yes that's the one, if you go Stanhope way then over the tops to heart side the roads are amazing, the food in the cafe is also quite good and the views from there are amazing. | |
