| To get the chatter... Blank off the location where the dump/recirc valve is and fit a cone filter As far as I'm aware I wouldn't attempt it with a td04 but I'm sure someone will confirm If your taking your boost gauge off just blank off your vacuum pipe | |

| TD04s are ok for chatter they are stronger than the TD05.. However if you just get a cone filter and blank the top mount intercooler it won't chatter much.. My turbo 2000 had a TD04 a HKS mushroom filter and autobahn front mount intercooler and it chattered like crazy really loud.. It ran without a dumpvalve for over 3 years without any issues whatsoever | |

| So i blank off the pipe under the right side of IC? Blank off the pipe where DV is? I want to keep my boost gauge so where do i put the hose from the gauge? Been reading up about the TD04 coping without a DV. Every agrees that they are strong and can cope. | |

| TD04 and TD05 will both handle running without a dumpvalve as well as each other, don't do it with a VF turbo though because the comp wheels are very brittle and will snap, I did a test loading up the blades on a Td05 compressor wheel and a VF35 compressor wheel, the VF blades shattered at a quarter of the load that it took to start bending the TD blades.
It was a pretty conclusive test. | |
