TSL Group N vs The Vortex Afterburner

Well what can I say, after a few weeks in the delightful company of Carlos's Vortex Afterburner, I'm returning to the gentle shores of the TSL Group N that I fell in love with all those years ago.

Ive got to say that the Afterburner is a wonderful piece of kit and well worth the money, but I'm not sure its me.

Still its been a pleasure to admire the angled slash cut and the sound of the thing is something else, but as one or two people pointed it out to me, its likely to attract some attention - you werent wrong there.

Thing is Ive always liked the sound of the TSL and maybe it needed an experiment like this to remind me how sweet it is. As is often said, you only notice what you had when it gone.

And after some careful consideration I'd volunteer this analogy - The TSL is a bit more cultured in my humble opinion. Its more likely to say "come over here darling and I'll nibble your ear", whereas the Afterburner is more likely to bellow "oy you, I'm gonna shag you up the arse". Whilst both options might have their merits, I'm a bit more the former than the latter.

So thanks for the "loan" Carlos, the pipe is still shiney and is currently worrying my fishing rods in the roof of my garage until you are prepared for its return.

Correct your royal Steakyness, but I agreed with Carl when I bought it that he had first refusal if I ever got shot of it, so you might as well be asking him.
