| Some of you will already have seen the birth of this project on facebook ... if you havent then you can follow it on: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I will be posting updates, live results, videos, photos, testing etc on there very frequently and main updates, videos, photos on here. Followiing an ongoing relationship with Bren and the team at Apex we have got together and given the car the full BC treatment for competing within Time Attack pro class in 2011. This is a great move from my point of view and brings a much better level of support than I have ever had and hopefully even better chance of doing well within the ever competitive pro class. I am looking forward to working closely with the guys there over this season and getting some great results for the team :thumb: The car will be changing 'a little' from last year's spec but this was it at Cadwell late last year.. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Plans for this year ... - a little more power - a little more aero - a little more reliability :thumb: Evolution is the name of the game for this year as it was close last year but not quite there and not there often enough Main Spec:Enginebuilt by RaceDynamix EJ257 Linered block Carillo Rods Cosworth Pistons ARP Heads Studs ARC Race Shells Zen Performance Dry Sump system Lateral Performance GT35 Turbo Lateral Performance Headers & Uppipe Kelford Cams Apex Twin Plate Clutch Syvecs S6GP ECU mapped by RaceDynamix TransmissionStd 6 Speed DCCD box Zen Performance LSD Fuel SystemLateral Performance ID 2000cc injectors Fuelab Prodigy Fuel Pump Fuelab Fuel Filter Walbro 255 lift pump Custom Swirl Pot Carl Davey Rails HEL braided fuel lines Wizards of Nos Nitrous System SuspensionBC Racing ER Series Coilovers Perrin front and rear ARBS Perrin drop links K Sport Adjustable suspension arms Custom Zen Performance suspension mods BrakesK Sport 355mm Front Brakes K Sport 330mm Rear Brakes Performance Friction 01 Pads HEL Braided lines Exterior / AeroAll custom bodywork by ABW Custom aero by RaceDynamix with assistance from RedBull F1 BC Racing Forged Wheels Other main partners for 2011:Lateral Performance CDF Racing Keith Michaels Insurance Syvecs CJS Norwich Zen Performance HEL Thanks for your support and I look forward to a great season :thumb: Some pics to keep you going til the graphics are finalised ... | Small update: - Diffuser design done .... (sorry no pics) - hopefully it will work well and will be made in time for testing in march (pretty please). Should, at the very least, look a million times better than the homebrew prototype creation LOL - turbo ordered and should be arriving next week. Nice shiney GT35/82 which should give a respectable power increase over current figures Lots more jobs to do and hopefully get the stickers finished today so that I can post some pics of the whole car | |

| a bit of progress: got the car back last night from GR Performance after they had expertly made a rotated kit for it - cheers Daz :thumb: So had a few things on the to do list for today Welding .. if you can call it that [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Making a bit tidier. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Support brackets for the rear spoiler as I now have a single skin fibre glass boot lid from ABW: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Almost finished (now painted) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Aerocatches have been fitted to the boot lid but it was too dark to take pics of them. The spoiler mounts will come up through the boot lid to mount the spoiler onto. | |
