| Could be a mapping issue as the mafless systems are known for starting issues | |

| what spec is your car jono ??
didnt realise you were running mafless until jonny just said, so am guessing simtek ?
maybe worth trying standard ecu back on if possible ? (depending on injectors, turbo etc etc)

| know scoobycarl used to have trouble starting his up on the Simtek when it was cold but not when warm. like finn suggests, would be worthwhile trying a standard ecu to see if that fixes it in which case, you may need the map tweaking if it does. it could also either be the air temp sensor or watertemp sensor. |

air temp sensor has no affect on starting problems but agree the water temp sensor sensor can cause problems... BUT av never seen a water temp sensor cause problems with hot starting, its always been cold starting problems av seen with this sensor. but theres always a 1st for everything with these jap heaps ov shite ....
