| Revs are up and down when car is Ticking over and also after been driving Hard it has a whynning sound and when Cooled Down no whynning. Anyone shed some light on this.  | |

| I had similar probs with mine but without the whineing, turned out to be map sensor. Diagnostics may pick the problem up as thats what i had to do. | |

| Well mine was the same revs up and down, cleaned icv even replaced it, no joy. Cleaned throttle body up, still the same. Got fed up of cleaning and replcing stuff so just got diagnostics put on.
Mine got that bad that when i lifted foot off the gas the car lunged forward, and when putting foot on the gas pushed ya back. Dont no if this is happening with yours or not but thought id mention it for you. | |

who mapped your car ? the early cars like mark78' s have common problems with idle surging. could be 1 ov a few problems. yours is a newage isnt it ? | |
