burning smell and steam/smoke

If I have been out in the car I get a burning smell and some smoke/steam coming up the front passanger side of the car, took the crap plate off today to have a look under it and there seems to be fluid leeking dripping, is this the water pump? and does anyone know if there is a common problem with anything round here.

Aye coolant pipe off the water pump, have done both in the Foz, think they get brittle due to being close to the manifold. Mark @ import sells them,

Get it done sooner rather than later, the misses lost all the coolant & was stranded until Drew turned up in the recovery truck.

Where you by asda in boldon tonight mate spotted a scoob looking alot like yours i was behind you at asda in the red mini cooper

The pipe does feel a little brittle but the leak is coming from above that pipe seems to be near the right near the sump

Na wasn't me today havnt been up that way, the stickers have been removed from the sides of the scooby now
