Subject: think the car has gone bang Fri 23 Sep - 0:37
Just came home from work nice steady drive, turnes into my estate put my foot down to go up the bank and all i got was a bang and now it will not tick over when you put your foot down it just splutters. i have just read the codes on the ecu and its coming up with 22 which i think is knock sensor. i have had no cel on at all

could be just a dodgy knock sensor..

intercooler pipe come off on the hot side hopefully, used to pop mine off fun on the old car + noticed you been messing on with the pipes on the hot side lately.

too be fair m8 thats what i thought could hear the turbo a bit but just had a quick check and they all seem to be in ok. my mate just txt and said there was some smoke comin ut the back when i pulled away

just been out reving the car a bit it revs ok until you try to hold the revs, it then goes lumpy if you try to hold them and if you rev too much it just splutters smoke looked white but its pretty dark

Was wierd m8 went to put my foot down to accel up bank and it was if it hit fuel cut then started spluttering n that ill go out in the morning and have a look, first things first tho m8 have you got a knock sensor that works just incase i get the stupis thing running again

was it on full boost at the time ? and yes av got a few knock sensors here mate

Its sorted now lads Mark remember those "VORTEX GENERATOR SCREWS" we removed they were there so the pipe couldnt slip past the clamp on i/c pipe LMFAO
