| I think i may of found something here, On the intake manifold there are 3 pipes one goes to what looks like a regulator of some sort that is attatched to the fuel rails the reinforced pipe that is attatched to this regulator looks like its kinked would this cause boost problems??
Ill get a picture up so you can all see what i mean.

| Worth a shot mate as i know the intake system needs to be spot on and a slight leak can cause problems | |

| That pic is the fuel pressure regulator, the pipe to it has to be the most important pipe you have on your engine, if that splits the car can run lean resulting in engine failure, best get it replaced ASAP!!! | |

| where it has been kinked the pipe has started to crack but isnt leaking. But wouldnt a kink affect the fueling also as it would affect the amount of air travelling through it. | |

| I have just replaced the pipe and went up the a19 to fill the tank up. The car seems to be boosting at 1.2 now but it still seems like its holding back. When i replaced the head gaskets i noticed that my up pipe was cracked so i welded it back up, could it be possible for the weld to have failed and if so would this cause me to loose power and would it be noticeable? | |

| But it won't cause boost issues either.
Sounds like you could have a sensor issue, see if you can find someone to lend you a MAF sensor to try as they are the main culprit for this type of issue.
It doesn't always show as a fault code for it either

| Can't be good if its keeps coming back after its been cleared. May be wrong but may cause hesitation or pull timing hense lees power if it was faulty. Got one here for you to try if ya need. | |
