Who's the right person ? Darren at DLM is getting prices for me with couple of options.. Iddy , Jonny and Mario and lots more use Andy kindon. DLM on my doorstep and used him since had my car for 3years, AK is chest st ( very good ) Not sure what to do or who to fix it yet, just getting prices and whats best for me. End of day lots of good people and opinions , I'm taking all in and appreciate advice. DLM, AK, Bish, stick... And lots more Don't want this to turn into a debate on who's best... Still pissed off at going to be 2k lighter. Thanks again all for advice.

| Plenty options for a good builder, what parts to use etc... It's all preference and costs...
You thought what power you want or just same power just more reliable ?

You thought what power you want or just same power just more reliable ? yeh, lots of options mate. Not sure on power yet till I get some prices, think in of a jmg 20g but not sure. Can't go to much power as is only 5 speed box, so max 430/450 but happy with the 363 bhp 407 lb to be honest. More power adds more cost. And wife not happy at the min :-)

| Go for the absolute best you can afford in way of parts fella. Brand new direct not ebay auction shite. I'm a fan of an eBay bargain but when it comes to getting your engine built you can't chance it. Also take in to consideration how long are you actually gonna keep the car? I went over the top on mine I'm never going to run 600+bhp but got it built for that as I know I will probably never sell the car. If your going to sell it in the next 12 to 18 months is it really worth going the full hog when changing pistons might do the job.. rant over | |

| Darren @ DLM has done servicing too fitting my six speed box and he has always done a fantastic job. I did use Andy Kindon to rebuild mine but would be very confident that Darren would do a fantastic job.
As Hardy has said getting the right parts is the most important for any type of engine rebuild.

rant over Yeh, would only use quality parts.. Jonny gav has given me a little list of parts and prices to go with. Just have to wait for prices next week and see where to go from there. Prob go with DLM as always used him ... But mite talk to AK a swell. The car is still running for now, so not a big rush. But want it doing asap.before anymore damage
